To encourage me to create this blog was the desire to share their expertise in networking, network design and maintenance of network operating systems. On this blog we’ll tell you what the local computer network, how to configure it and how to serve. Try to explain what you need to do, what are the approaches to building networks.
Here are several examples of networks from small (2 laptop using laptop batteries, or desktops at home) to enterprise networks. I will try to present the material without complex descriptions of the theory, but in a special section you can read and theoretical calculations for the construction of networks. In addition to describing the principles of building local networks, the site will publish reviews of the setup and configuring the operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, Novell). A separate section will discuss the hardware components of the network and server facilities of well-known manufacturers.

All that is here presented is taken from my personal experience in the construction and network administration. The construction of networks “in general” does not make sense. Despite the fact that in all cases used virtually the same equipment, same transmission medium, too much different approach to connect multiple computers in the office, and the construction of structured cabling enterprise or group of buildings. If we stick to formal logic, then consider the practical aspects needed only after a complete description of all the theoretical aspects.
